Christmas Time

Well here we are. Christmas time again. Time to buy gifts for those special people in your life. Time to surprise your children and your other family members, or friends. Just be careful about how you do it. The average household will be paying for those Christmas gifts, a minimum of two years! So shop smart. Be sure that you do your homework before you go buy your gifts. Look around first. Try to get good deals. Be careful out there.

Crazy money market.

This has been the craziest few months on the financial market. the DOW keeps fluttering and the big stores are reporting low income, so what is going on!!! I made a comment to my wife yesterday about that. We were going to the Walmart down the road from us, and I told her, "look at that, the media keeps saying that the stores are losing money, but every time I go to the store, there is not a place to park!?! How is that possible?" Well we need to start watching how we spend our money. You can live a comfortable life without all the luxuries. It is alright to spoil yourself once in a while, but not all the time. Be careful with your spending.

Finances, what a frustrating topic to talk about. Marriages come apart because of it. Friendships come to an end. On and on. What can we do about it? well there are a lot of things that we can do. One thing we must stop doing is spend the little money that we are making. I mentioned it earlier, that we need to start saving our money. Even if it is a little bit. Those of you who live or lived in places where it snowed, know that with just a little bit of snow you can make a very big snowball. that is the same thing for your money. putting a little away at a time will in turn begin to snowball.
